Only God knows the thing that I know”
Not nearly enough to be a pro.
If you want to play ball with me,
Slow down and throw it straight,
And sometimes slow.
And maybe I”ll be able to make a score
But if some of us had the ability to know
As much as we think we know,
we would very soon become a pro.
Lord please forgive them who seem to think
that they have nothing to ask forgiveness for,
in person they maybe here,
But their mind is much too far”
Life is somewhat like a ballgame,
Let us slowdown, watch out and maybe
We all will be able to play,
Unforgettable, you are so incredible
So go think you are
Slow your mind down,
And let your body catch.

May 4, 2008 by fulmoremilkmanLong ago when I was young
going to church was lots of fun.
We worked all day, sometimes no pay.
Come Sunday morning, we would get on our way.
Across the fields, woods, and roads,
most everywhere were lots of holes.
It wasn’t what we always wanted to do
but the choices we had were very few.
Each Sunday we went to Sunday school.
The teachers, they taught us the golden rules.
They said, “thou shall give, thou shall not kill,
and when you have done these things,
you have done his will”.

It Is Dangerous To Put Off Today For Tomorrow
May 4, 2008 by fulmoremilkmanWhen I was sick and in misery, I called on Jesus
and he came to see about me.
I am not trying to tell you what you ought to do
I am just saying what He did for me,
He will do the same thing for you
If I were you, I would do it today,
‘Cause time is slowly fading away.
See if we knew what day we will have to go
We would probably wait until the day before.
But He only promises one day at a time
And it is up to Him whether He will change His mind.
We should get our ticket now and have it signed,
so when Judgement Day comes, we won’t be left behind.
Once in my earlier days, I thought I had plenty of time,
But after what happened to me, it made me change my mind.

It Is Better To Beg Than Steal
May 4, 2008 by fulmoremilkmanJust the other day I was on my way downtown, and I heard
a noise and quickly looked around. I saw two people heading
in the same direction I was going. They were singing, “The
things for my perfection is in that direction! When they were
close enough for me to see them really good, one of them had
a rag around his head, and the other one had little red
handkerchief around his head. One of them looked at me, smiled
and said, “Mr., the reason for us singing this song is because
this morning I heard over the radio that in one of those stores
they were giving food to those in need. We are so glad about
it that we had to sing about it”. I said to them, “That’s okay,
but what’s the purpose of having on caps like those? They are
okay, but not for weather like this today”. Then one of the
boys said to me, “Mr., if you ain’t got what you want, you have
to use what you got”. I thought about that for a while and
you know that makes sense. If some people had thought about
that a long ago, more of us probably would be home, rather
than somewhere in jail awaiting bond. Good Luck!

Hi, Girl! Don’t Move On Me So Fast
May 4, 2008 by fulmoremilkmanHi, Mr. Honeybee! You were flying over my head ever since you were here,
you don’t see me? I am right here by the garden door, the same place I was
two years ago. Things look kinda strange, you past by me and went to the
other end. Now don’t you try to be funny with me, cause you don’t have any
pockets and I don’t believe you have much money. For I am the big red rose
that usually blossom all year long, you need to stop by and talk to me this
year before you long, you need to stop by and talk to me this year before
you attempt to fly back to your home. Our red roses have very sweet honey
and if you can come up with enough money to buy me some insect spray, you
might consider staying here all year long, rather than flying back to your
home. Big man, I know you are a cool dude when you fly. Most people get
excited when you pass by. Now I am not the kind of rose that smell sweet
only during the summer time. I have the kind of smell that you can find
even if you are totally blind. You might want to hang around a while before
going back hoe. I will give you my number and you can call me on the phone.
For I am here all day and unless somebody moves, this is where I will stay.
Right around the corner is where I was born and unless I die, I will be
living here right on. Bye-bye.

Hi There, Are You Still My Friend?
May 4, 2008 by fulmoremilkmanWhy you stop coming on this end?
When you were broke I could see you all the time.
That little bit of money must have changed your mind.
Come on by sometime and let’s sit down and talk
‘Cause over there is just too far for me to walk.
When my car was running you know I would take you for a ride.
But when you saw me on the road the other day you just passed on by.
Just go ahead child and have your fun
Some of those same people you are riding are going to make you run.
You act like you forgot about all those things I used to do for you,
Some of those clothes that you were wearing of mine were brand new.
Child, I am glad I had a chance to talk to you again.
Stop by and see us sometime, whenever you are on this end.
Bye bye.
1986 – Hot Weather Conditions
May 4, 2008 by fulmoremilkmanIt’s getting dry do you realize? Things are dying by the wayside.
Things on this earth are getting worse, it has been for others,
but now it is for us.
But when some others were getting the worst of heat, some of
us were at the beach. There are those of us who thought they
weren’t born to die. Yet there are others who are thankful that
they are still alive.
Let us be thankful that it isn’t any worse, for God has enough
power to destroy the earth, but there is a place prepared for
us so dear, when you get to the city over there.
The days are hot! What’s going on! There is too much gossip
on the telephone. Things could get worse before they get better
We need to get ourselves together.
